Zach has now signed for the AM-PRO factory Yamaha GNCC squad to race in the prestigious off-road series. He has already been confirmed to be riding a modern YZ 250. Regularly. The move to a full DocWob 2002 YZ 250 for the 2023 event will not be a big shock for the former AMA National Champion.
Zach will be teaming up again with Sonnie Mee, who will look after his bikes for the weekend of August 24/28th, so their successful relationship continues.
Back in the day, Zach was an integral part of the Dixon Yamaha squad. Osborne’s first full year in the MX2 World Championship was in 2009. He won the Turkish GP by going 3-1 on the day, beating top riders such as Musquin and Paulin, who joined him on the podium. That would end up being his only GP win. Still, Osborne is no stranger to the podium and boosts titles, including 2020 AMA Pro Motocross Championship 450 Champion, 2017 AMA Pro Motocross Championship 250 Champion, four career AMA Pro Motocross Championship 450 Wins, Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship 450SX win and seven career AMA Pro Motocross Championship 250 wins.
