With the 2024 season in full swing, the Woodbridge & DMCC is thrilled to announce Talk Access & Lifting Ltd as the club’s title sponsor for the upcoming year. Talk Access & Lifting Ltd will be the main sponsor for the Dirt Store MXGB ACU British Championship event at Blaxhall, scheduled for Sunday, June 23rd.
Talk Access & Lifting Ltd, based in Yorkshire, is an extension of the parent company, Talk Access Ltd, which specialises in providing scaffolding access to various locations. This summer, the two companies are joining forces to expand their services, offering not only scaffolding access but also transportation and lifting solutions. These services will facilitate the movement of materials and plant equipment nationwide, streamlining the process for their clients.
The company’s venture into the lifting market was inspired following a life-changing incident involving family member Ashton Dickinson, who suffered a severe injury, breaking his C6 vertebrae, at the British Championship event at Schoolhouse last summer. Ashton, a former professional motocross rider who has competed in both the British MX Championship and MXGP World Championship since 2018 and also a member of the Woodbridge & DMCC club.
A year after the accident, Ashton has completed his training courses to become the company’s Appointed Person (AP) and is excelling in his new role. His resilience and determination are driving the family business forward into new ventures.
For 2024, Talk Access & Lifting Ltd will sponsor all motocross events at the Blaxhall Circuit, including the Dirt Store MXGB ACU British Motocross Championship round on June 23rd where sponsored rider Dylan Walsh will compete in the MX2 class at the event.
The company’s sponsorship extends beyond Blaxhall, supporting motocross rider Travis Steels, professional female rugby player Erin Stott from St Helens, Pontefract Colliers U12’s Girls Football Club, and the Rothwell Juniors U8’s. This demonstrates their commitment to fostering local athletic talent and helping athletes achieve their goals.
Wayne Dickinson of Talk Access & Lifting Ltd expressed his enthusiasm: “We are pleased to support the Woodbridge & DMCC this year. Every time we arrive at this circuit, we smile from ear to ear, whether competing or as fans. It’s a spectacular location, very well presented, and organised by all the members involved. The club’s dedication to putting on great racing weekends, from track preparation to venue presentation, inspired us to get involved with the Woodbridge club and their events.”
Richard Blyth from the Woodbridge & DMCC added: “As a club, we are excited to be sponsored by Talk Access & Lifting Ltd. Since Ashton returned from America to compete in the UK, we have maintained a good relationship and followed his career. We now welcome his and Talk Access & Lifting’s increased support of the club and our venue at Blaxhall.”
