The Woodbridge and District Motor Club are gearing up for an exhilarating 2025 motocross season at their iconic Blaxhall Circuit. As preparations for the new year continue through the winter months, the club is excited to offer fans and riders alike a thrilling calendar of events.
The 2025 season at Blaxhall will feature five exciting motocross events, including a practice day and four race meetings. Among these, the highlight will be the prestigious Motul ACU British Motocross Championship, scheduled for Sunday, 15th June, marking the return of world-class racing to this renowned venue.
The season kicks off with a Practice Day on Saturday, 8th March, providing riders the opportunity to fine-tune their skills ahead of the competitive season.
The first race meeting of the season will take place on Sunday, 20th April, as the club hosts Round 2 of the ACU Eastern Motocross Championship. Expect fierce competition, with reigning champion Sam Nunn and other top contenders vying for early points in the championship standings.
On Sunday, 15th June, Blaxhall will play host to Round 3 of the Motul ACU British Motocross Championship. This prestigious event will feature the MX1, MX2, and Youth 125cc classes, bringing together some of the world’s top Grand Prix riders and the best of Britain’s talent. Riders like Jake Nicholls, Sam Nunn, and Tom Grimshaw will compete alongside fellow local stars such as Bayliss Utting, Calum Mitchell, and Callum Murfitt in front of a passionate home crowd. With thrilling racing and a festive atmosphere, this event promises to be a great day out for the whole family.
After the British Championship event, the club will host an Open Meeting on Sunday, 6th July. This event will feature both Experts and Juniors, along with an exciting day of racing that will include the NGR Championship.
The action continues with the ACU Eastern Motocross Championship returning to Blaxhall on Sunday, 17th August for Round 6 of the series. As the season draws to a close, the battle for championship points will be intense, with riders in both the Expert and Junior categories vying for crucial positions as the season nears its conclusion.
The 2025 season promises to be one of the most exciting yet, with a packed schedule and a stellar lineup of riders. Fans of motocross won’t want to miss out on the high-octane action at Blaxhall.
