It was a Great Bank holiday weekend for the AVT Campers KTM, with Lucy Barker flying the flag in Estonia in the European Womens Motocross Championship and Tyla Hooley racing at Canada Heights in the Dirt Store ACU British Motocross Championship.
Lucy has been in unstoppable form so far in the European Championship, and this continued at Round 4 in Estonoa, where she won every race she took part in for another fantastic Euro victory.
Talking of her win Lucy said, “Nice weekend for me and really good practice on a surface which isn’t my stongest point. The track was great and the weather was scorching.
“I went 1-1-1-1 throughout all the qualifying and races and had 3 holeshots which made it easier as well!
“Really happy to extend my points lead. We keep working and get ready for the next one👀
“Thanks to my mum and dad for making it possible also to my coach @brian_jorgensen_mx_coaching , AVT campers KTM, Emeks and all the other amazing people who support me💪”
On home soil at Canada Heights Tyla raced in the Youth 250 class where he rode fantastic to go 2-3 for second overall.
Tyla said of his day, “Another round of the British championship ticked off this weekend, riding in pain which gave me not the best of my results but it was good to salvage as much points as possible from my crash last weekend, P2 overall on the day with a P2 in moto 1 and a P3 in moto 2, lead a fair few laps and let’s just keep building from here, I’d like to say a huge thank you to AVT Campers KTM for sticking behind me and thank you to @trak_industries for sorting me with a @mobiusbracesuk it really helped my wrist.”
