The Northampton MCC have been busy securing a venue for the 94th running of the Wild and Woolly event which will run on the 26th December 2021. The event was last run in 2018, after the 2019 event had to be cancelled due to land restrictions before Covid-19 stopped the 2020 event from happening. But for 2021 the event will return, and this year’s historic event will take place at a specially adapted version of the Long Buckby National track so expect mud and water as per normal.
Entries are now open and Northampton MCC members who joined NMCC before September 2021 get priority entries. After that, entries will be open to anyone else. If you’re a member who wants to ride, please enter ASAP to help with admin. NON-MEMBERS can enter but will only get a ride if there are sufficient places available once all club members have entered.
Regs are pretty much same as all the other 93 W&Ws. Please ensure that you read all the check box questions during the event process and so you understand the event. All riders must attend at least one day of the Set-Up Weekend on 11th & 12th December, AND you must attend the Clear -UP Party on December 27th to get a result. You must also provide a marshal, named with your entry.
