The promoters for the annual Farleigh Castle vets mx event held at the iconic Wiltshire Grand Prix circuit are proud to announce that former British championship, Welsh champion and HRC factory rider Mark Jones is signed up to race at the original International Vets MX event in the UK, which is held on September 12th/13th/14th and 15th.

Simply put – Mark is a legend, let’s make no bones about it and we don’t use that term lightly. The extremely likeable 44-year-old Welshman who hails from Bridgend is excited for the opportunity to come back to “the field of dreams” to show his speed and style around the famous grassy hillside circuit. He will be in the contention for the honours that’s for sure. Jones is currently rebuilding his HRC Honda CR 250 to be ready to race in the team race for the official Welsh squad, rumour has it it’s one of Fred Bolley’s World Championship winning RC250s.

The Farleigh Castle Vets MX is the original founder of the now popular Vets International races, still the only event to have 60 riders on each line up. Imagine the sound of 60 two-strokes all on the start gate, now that’s the stuff that gets the hairs on the back of your neck to stand up-it is certainly not to be missed.

With the re-birth of the event, the new owners and promoters are ensuring the entertainment, with quality food and beverage vendors as well as the trade village are top notch. And let’s not forget they also have two days of packed racing from the ten classes over the four-day event which is stacked with a who’s who of the British MX

Spectator tickets and camping passes for the event are now live and they will be offering weekend tickets alongside Saturday or Sunday only tickets. Family tickets and camping passes are also available. https://my.weezevent.com/farleigh-castle-vets-mx
