FGA and Whitchurch stalwart Brian Crump picked up the outstanding achievement award for his hard work in helping to get the Whitchurch events on as well as his efforts within the Association.
Kevin Gwillam picked up the Veteran’s shield after returning to the sport after nearly 40 years away.
Ross Wharton shared the exciting news that the FGA has secured a headline sponsor for 2022. H & N Supplies Ltd have agreed to come on board and sponsor the whole championship for this season. Company owner Nick Bull, who is now an FGA regular and big grass competitor said “ the FGA has been such a friendly and welcoming community and everyone has been so helpful in getting me up and running in the sport I felt it was time to give something back.”
H N Supplies Ltd was started in 1989 when it became the sole UK and Ireland distributor for the Roto Hammer Incorporated range of manually operated chainwheels. Since then have also became the sole UK & Ireland distributor for the Trumbull Industries range of chainwheels and other items for the valve industry and sell all over the world.
Ross continued, “I’m also delighted to announce our programme sponsors for the season. Quad-master.co.uk, M.A.N.T plumbing & Heating, SAM Plumbing & Heating and Wharton bathroom & plumbing services. Without the generosity of these businesses, the championship would become damaging financially.”
The 2022 season gets underway on Saturday 9th April at The Rally Site, Malpas SY14 8JG.
