Under 21 Title Returns to MXGB – Backed by the Jude Morris Racing Foundation

Under 21 Title Returns to MXGB – Backed by the Jude Morris Racing Foundation

The Under 21 Championship returns to the Motul ACU British Motocross Championship in 2025, proudly supported for the first time by the Jude Morris Racing Foundation; a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the next generation of British motocross talent.

All eligible riders in the MXGB MX2 class will automatically be entered into this iconic championship, which has previously been claimed by some of the UK’s most successful riders, including Tommy Searle and Stephen Sword. The revived U21 Championship provides a vital platform for emerging riders to showcase their skills on the national stage.

Paul Irwin, Series Director at MXGB, commented: “Bringing back the Under 21 Championship is a significant step for the series. It’s a title with real prestige, having been claimed by many of the country’s top riders, and it remains a vital pathway for young talent progressing through British motocross.”

The Jude Morris Racing Foundation added: “We’re incredibly proud to support the return of the Under 21 Championship in 2025. This partnership aligns with our mission to create opportunities for young riders, while continuing to honour Jude’s legacy. We’re also hugely grateful for the support the foundation continues to receive! Together, we’re making a real difference for the future of motocross and in supporting Air Ambulances UK.”

Founded in memory of Jude Morris, one of Britain’s most promising young motocross riders, the Jude Morris Racing Foundation has quickly established itself as a driving force in nurturing young athletes within the sport. Through financial support, mentorship, and a tiered sponsorship programme introduced in 2024, the foundation helps develop professionalism and talent in aspiring motocross riders.

In addition to supporting young riders, the foundation is proud to donate 20p of every £1 raised to Air Ambulances UK. The Jude Morris Innovation and Development Fund, created in partnership with Air Ambulances UK, enables air ambulance teams across the country to apply for grants supporting life-saving resources and projects. To date, the foundation has raised over £114,500 for Air Ambulances UK.

Tickets for Round One are available now as the 2025 Motul ACU British Motocross Championship kicks off at Hawkstone Park on March 30th.
