With just weeks to go until the original Vets Race, which takes place at the historic Farleigh Castle circuit on the weekend of September 14th/15th and just weeks after his own retirement Sam Sunderland is returning to motocross to race at Farleigh Castle Vets MX 2024.
Having announced his retirement from pro racing just weeks ago, two-time Dakar winner and two-time world rally champion Sam Sunderland will line up in the team event to represent Team SC Sporthomes. The Dubai-based British rally raid motorcycle rider is best known for participating in the Dakar Rally, which he won in 2017 and 2022. Sunderland has shown immense commitment in chasing his dreams throughout his pro years and has undoubtedly had a legendary career. Sunderland has a love of racing and one to give his all when the gate drops. He will be racing a 2002 KTM 250.
It’s sure to be a great weekend filled with fantastic racing and a celebration of motocross from years past.
The gates open at noon on Thursday, September 12th, for riders and weekend campers.
