TORQ MOTO – Brian Wheeler Part 2 – The last pro years, The VET…..THE END?!

Brian Wheeler Part 2 - The last pro years, The VET.....THE END?!

Following the entertaining first episode, Brian Wheeler is back on the sofa for more epic stories and discussion in this week’s second ‘Torq Moto Podcast Show’ with hosts DocWob and Jeffro Perrett.

In this episode, the trio discuss Brian’s later career in the 500cc World Championship and British motocross in more detail, how and why he eventually decided to hang up his boots and helmet, and what he did next after his successful racing career. Of course, most people will know further down the line that he got a new helmet and boots and came back to race the ever-increasingly popular Evo scene to great effect, winning plenty of races and increasing his popularity along the way. That’s the thing with Brian, he doesn’t take it too seriously, well, not until the helmet goes on, but even that has tamed down a bit over the years as explains in this episode.

He now enjoys spending more time with his family, but when he can, he still likes to get out on track, pull a hole shot, race hard, and entertain the crowd on and off the track. Brian Wheeler has had a brilliant career, and as one of the most likeable characters in British motocross, it’s obvious from the discussions here that he’ll be around the scene for a good while yet, with stories to tell and always up for a chat.
