Searle will return as part of the three-man British squad who will be keen to defend their 2023 victory, as not only was he part of the victorious team he was also a race winner much to the delight of the partisan crowds – anyone who was there will agree!

The sight of TS100 throwing the DocWob built Pro Circuit KX 250 around the valley with the deafening sounds of the air horns and chainsaws was nothing short of electric. Watching Tommy spend 15 minutes fighting through the crowds on his way back to his truck was humbling.

From the inaugural event the promoters wanted to bring the heady days of the 90’s Grand Prix back to the Foxhill circuit, and that box is most definitely ticked in 2023, we can’t wait to see what 2024 brings!

Searle will be fully supported by his Dirt Store Kawasaki team, on the run up and during the event. He will be racing proudly on the 2000 DocWob built KX 250, both DocWob and team Dirt Store Kawasaki boss Jon Giffard are working closely on extracting some more horses from the bike between now and the event, and we will all be able to follow along as all this will be filmed, to air on both DocWob TV and Tommy’s YouTube channels on the run up to the event.

Having competed in the MX2 class at the Grand Prix from 2005 to 2008, finishing 2nd in the world before heading to the States to race for Factory KTM in 2009 and 2010., Searle is well versed with the 250 machine and has returned to the 250 class for the 2024 season, after several more highly successful years on the 450’s, earning him the nickname #250Tom. Searle is a three-time MX2 World vice-champion & a four-time British Champion. His fourteen MX2 Grand Prix victories make him Britain’s most successful MX2 rider and ranks third in total victories across all classes to multiple World champions David Thorpe and Jeff Smith.

Tickets for the four-day festival of 90’s and 00’s two strokes motocross actions are available from https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/vmxdn-foxhill-2024-tickets-753835631667

If you are planning on attending the motocross event of the year, the advice is to book early, as the promoters are predicting that tickets will sell out prior to the event, the first time in history that an outdoor MX race will be sold out, prior to gates opening! There is plenty of memories and history being made at VMXdN Foxhill!
