Todd Kellett in for 2024 Patchquick Trophy

Todd Kellett in for 2024 Patchquick Trophy
World Sand Race Champion Todd Kellett is returning to race for the Patchquick Trophy next Wednesday, June 19th, and will be looking to reclaim the trophy he won as a 19-year-old in 2016.

Since his win 8 years ago, Kellett has racked up titles and accolades, with no fewer than 6 Weston Beach Race titles and is a two-time winner of the famous Le Touquet beach race in France.

Only a few weeks back, he made an MXGP wildcard appearance, so he comes into this event as one of the favourites on his Dragontek Monster Energy Yamaha Machine.

Back in 2016, Todd beat Sonny Thompson, who was second; current GP rider Josh Gilbert was third, Luke Dean was fourth, Tommy Alba was fifth, and Olly Jones was sixth.  Check out a picture of Todd with the trophy below:

The meeting is sponsored by Monsters of Dirt and takes place at the Little Silver MX track just outside Exeter in Devon.

Spectator entry is £10 on the gate.

Practice starts at 4pm with the first race being at 6pm.
