Edge Offroad hosted the first round of their 2023 British Cross Country Championship at Spaunton Quarry at the weekend and it was Max Ditchfield who took the overall and Premier class win over Charlie Frost and Jack Price.

The Expert win went the way of Joe Chambers, while Daniel Calkin came out on top of a stacked Clubman class.
Nikita Smith took the honours in the Ladies class, and Jimmy Phillips ruled the roost in the Masters.
Number one in the Over 50’s was Mark Ritchie, Josh Lister topped the Sportsman and Scott Flynn grabbed the Sportsman Vets overall.
In the Novice Brett Harrison was the winner while in the Youth AM race Riley Boyd got the job done and took the win.
There was a great entry of Youth riders and Props go to the class winners who were, Ellis Hurst in the Juniors, Connor Watson in Youth A, Juddy Kearford in Youth B and Kristina Brinkworth in the Youth Girls.
