The Will to win! 2024 Pendine Beach Race – Youth Report, Results and Pictures

Another year passed, and the annual Pendine Beach Race returned for 2024. This year, the Let’s Go Racing team ran the event, having taken over the Dredgers club, which had successfully run the beach race at Pendine for many years.

Day one’s racing was for the kids, and the youth classes started at 08.30 as the sun rose over Carmarthenshire Bay in West Wales. The first race kicked Into gear at 9am sharp. The sun shone down on the track, which has been used for numerous land speed records in the past; there may not have been any records broken at Pendine on Saturday, but the racing was fast and furious, and the kids had a great time heading home shortly after midday with their awards as the tide made its way covering the track after a massive effort from the Lets go Racing team.

In the Auto class, there were different race winners in each moto, but it was Elik Miller who took the overall and the race three chequers ahead of Moto two victor Charlie Fraser and Moto one winner Oakley Seldon.

Jimmy Ball went 1-2-1 to win the Junior 65cc title, ahead of Jeston Hillman in second and Harry Hackett in third. Bailey Fraser won race two.

Mylie Evans blitzed the Small Wheel 85s with maximum points, while Gwion Davies finished second and Rhys Jones was third.

Over in the Big Wheel 85’s Will Evans ran riot with three from three for the overall ahead of Jaden Hill in second and Kian John in third.

Seth Trivett-Pritchard would take two moto wins for the Quad 3 class victory ahead of moto two victor Danny James, with Celyn Davies rounding out the podium in third.

In the Pro-Youth Quad class, Theo Langridge was on a mission, maxing out for victory. Cai Evans was second, and Harri Leathers was third, while in the Youth Quad class, Erin Mansell was the lone rider, so they took the win.
