The Miot brothers join Reece Jones as SAS TPC KTM go big for 2025!

The Miot brothers join Reece Jones as SAS TPC KTM go big for 2025!

The SAS TPC KTM has secured the signings of the young French talents, the Miot brothers Matheo and Florian, who will race for them in the 2025 ACU British Motocross Championships.

Beach race specialist Matheo will head the team as their first MX1 rider, while Florian will join another new signing, Reece Jones, in the MX2 class.

Both of the brothers have already made appearances in the UK, most notably Florian, who finished fifth in the 2021 British Championship in the MX2 class for the SC Sporthomes team, and for a 20-year-old, has plenty of experience, having raced in America, Italy as well as winning four national championships in France.

The brothers will race bikes built by the team to the highest standards to give them the best shot at podium finishes. They will do so alongside Reece Jones, who has already shown his speed on the team’s bikes by winning the Youth race of the Weston Beach Race and coming eighth in the main adult race. He will be one of the hottest Rookies in the Championship after winning the 2024 Youth 250 British Championship in fine style.

Team Directors Drew Smith and Adam Spratt said of the recruits, “The team is over the moon with the signings and looks forward to putting the 249/247/104 under the awning and putting them all in a great position.  With the Team growing and growing, as well as racing in the UK, we will be looking in the future to race events in Europe with maybe even a few wild card appearances at MXGP rounds. Matheo and Florian will be provided complete professional programmes with the team’s race mechanics, and we will be backing them 100 per cent. Matheos’s race mechanic will be Kieran Allan, and Florian’s race mechanic will be Jordan Arthurs.

We would like to thank all of our sponsors who are backing us this year and we hope to show you what we can do in 2025 see you at the First round …..Let’s go”

Florian said of joining the team, “Since my last race in England I absolutely wanted to ride there again and to have this offer to go back there is great.”

Matheo is equally excited to be racing the team in the UK, “I am really happy to join the SAS TPC KTM team. I mainly ride in the beach racing championship, and I was looking for a deal to ride motocross after my season, and I found an agreement with my current team to ride in England between the two beach racing seasons, so I am eager to start.”

Reece said on his social media about the move, “I am over the moon to announce that I will be racing for the @sastpcktm race team for the 2025 season, I cannot wait to get the winter training underway for my first pro mx2 season!! See you all in 2025.”
