Whilst hugely excited by this future partnership, the FIM would first like to offer it sincere thanks to ABC Communication, the current and long-standing promoter of the series, who have done an excellent job throughout their period at the helm.

Whilst perhaps a new name to the wider audience, SportUP is no stranger to the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship having organised very successful events as part of the series since 2016. SportUP’s pedigree stretches far beyond these events having been responsible for organising over seventy events across various pursuits including motorcycling, mountain biking and music, so they are well equipped for the challenge that lays ahead of them.

From their own experiences SportUP are directly aware of the full potential of the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, with its incredible riders, non-stop action and electric atmosphere that results in an amazing overall show. Using these important ingredients SportUP plan to take the series worldwide with a programme of up to eight rounds each year, which will benefit not only from the foundations laid by ABC Communication but also from enhanced media coverage, a refreshed visual identification and increased live broadcast.

In addition to focusing their efforts on the existing elements of the championship, SportUP will also bring innovation to the series through the launch of a new SuperEnduro Academy that will aim to attract new riders to this specialist discipline through online advice and actual training sessions with the best riders within the sport.

Commenting on this exciting announcement Jorge Viegas – FIM President said: “On behalf of the FIM I would like to start by thanking our current promoter ABC Communication for the great work they have done with this discipline since 2013. There is no doubt about the huge potential of the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, and we have great trust that SportUP will use their experience from not only delivering good events in this sport but also other sports too to elevate the series to a new level and to take it to new audiences around the world both physically and via the improved coverage they will develop.”

Adding his own words Tomasz Gagat – Managing Director SportUP stated: “We are truly honoured and are grateful that the FIM has provided us with this incredible opportunity to grow and improve this amazing and exciting sport both for the benefit of the riders and the fans. We are totally focused on repaying the trust that has been given to us, and to developing the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship into one of the leading arena sports worldwide. We do not underestimate the challenge that is ahead of us, and the hard work begins now.”
