The ACU appoint Paul Irwin as British Motocross Championship series director for 2025

Following the announcement that the 2025 ACU British Motocross Championship will be run in-house, the ACU are very pleased to confirm the appointment of Paul Irwin as Series Director.

In what is a new and key leadership role for the series, Paul will be working closely with the ACU, its organising clubs, teams and commercial partners in developing the future direction of the ACU British Motocross Championship.

This appointment will bring unique expertise and insight to ACU Motocross activity. With a lifetime spent competing and working in British motocross, for over a decade Paul has run the highly successful Fastest40 National MX series in partnership with his father Neil and was the founder and owner of Race FX, a major off-road parts, accessories and apparel distributor to the motorcycle trade, before its acquisition by French aftermarket giant BIHR in 2021.

This is an important first step in a series of changes that the ACU are taking to redevelop the sport with further updates in due course.
