First up for Team Oakleaf is Alex Snow. Snow is a seasoned rider with a penchant for pushing boundaries and brings his knack for precision and speed to the team. His exceptional skills have earned him several accolades over the years, including British Under 21 champ, King of the Dirt winner and British Enduro Sprint Champion, alongside scoring points at the MXGP and a host of British Championship podium finishes. Retired from professional Motocross in 2021, he won the British Enduro championship in 2022, alongside a podium finish at last year’s VMXdN event. He is eager to return with his A-game for 2023. Snow said, “I am excited to race Foxhill again. Last year was the best event in the UK, and I have no doubt it will be bigger and better again in 2023 too. Will be fun to be back with the Oakleaf crew, just like old times!”.

Tommy Alba, a well-known Southwest rider who started competing aged six, will line-up up alongside Snow. Tommy’s speed developed quickly, and he was snapped up by team Oakleaf at just 14 to ride the Red Bull Pro Nationals and selected British events. His strength and size prevailed, and he succeeded at Beach Racing in both the UK & France. Alba stated he is “massively looking forward to racing VMXdN Foxhill this year alongside Shane and Alex. Just like the old Oakleaf days. I missed out on this event last year, but it will be one hell of a weekend.” Alba is lining up on a 1992 Honda CR250.

Welshman Shane Carless is the last but indeed not the least member of the Oakleaf Team. Having previously represented team Wales, Carless is a powerhouse of talent. He is added strength to an already strong team. He is expected to bring high excitement and competitiveness to the race. With past achievements, including British Youth Champion & AMCA Championships alongside a podium finish in the British world MX3 class, this guy knows what it’s like to stand on the podium.

VMXdN Foxhill is more than just a race; it’s a celebration of 90s/00s mx when two strokes ruled the show. The new for 2023 Wright Engineering National Team race will see teams from around the nation compete in a thrilling display of speed, skill, and all-out ambition. VMXdN Foxhill allows spectators to witness some of the best motocross racing action and a festival-like atmosphere.
