News has been coming through gradually for the SC Sporthomes Husqvarna team, and whilst their two-man line-up in Arenacross is made up of John Adamson and Charlie Putnam, their full Motocross line-up adds even more excitement for the new British season!

With a six-strong team, the squad will again have one of the biggest presences in the British paddocks across the country, and with a great mix of youth and experience they will certainly be in contention for top honours across both classes.
Their MX1 line-up consists of new Scottish Motocross Champion John Adamson, fellow Arenacross entrant Charlie Putnam, and seven-time South African Champion Tristan Purdon, who returns for his second full season in the UK.
In MX2, the rider who took two moto wins for them on the way to 3rd in the British Championship, Elliott Banks-Browne, again campaigns the 250 class in which he won the British title in 2012 and 2013. He is joined by second-year pro Charlie Heyman, the 2022 Youth 125cc British Champion who had a difficult debut season in the Tru7 Honda Racing Academy team, but finds a home on familiar Austrian machinery in a team that will surely help him develop. Charlie was dominant on the 125 and even led the field at the final MX2 round at Landrake in 2022 on a 250 two-stroke. His talent is without question and it will be great to see him flourish with SC Sporthomes Husqvarna.
They are joined by Syd Putnam, who scored an impressive win at the Mini Olympics Supercross in the USA in early December, and will make his Pro class debut on the Husqvarna FC250 machine.
The team’s focus will be on the Nora Pro Championship, the Dirt Store British Championship, and as many rounds of the AMA Pro Motocross series as the calendar permits. John will also be looking to defend his Scottish title amongst a stacked calendar of back-to-back racing.
Here are the mug shots of the team with their funky new graphic packages and FXR kit! Looking forward to seeing them out on track!
