Team Latvia is travelling back to the legendary VMXdN Foxhill

The anticipation is building, and the countdown is well and truly on for the highly anticipated third annual VMXdN, to take place at Foxhill over the August bank holiday weekend (22nd-25th). One of the highlights on the packed race schedule is the VMXdN international team race, and this year promises to be no exception. Teams from around the globe are making their way to the legendary Foxhill GP circuit, spreading the international recognition of the VMXdN event. Among those teams is the welcome return of team Latvia.

The team is spearheaded by former Grand Prix winner Mattis Karro, who needs no introduction to British fans, having ridden for several UK motocross teams over his career. Mattis was a massive hit with MX fans and was a great addition to the line-up at last year’s event. Having retired just three years ago, this guy still has pace and, despite being accustomed to a colder climate, is red hot when the gate drops. Karro will be racing a CR 250 with the number 32.

Mattis is backed up by former Grand Prix racer Lauris Freibergs, who has made eight national appearances for his country at MXoN. The former European champion had a long and distinguished career, including 11 years on the MXGP circuit and ten Latvian motocross championships! Freibergs will run number 33.

Martins Aleksandrovics completes this powerhouse team. No stranger to the international scene and an accomplished racer in the European championships and later the FMX circuit, this Latvian Team knows precisely what they are up against and comes with the prior experience of the whole team competing in last year’s event. Aleksandrovics will be running the number 31 plate.

The fun starts long before the gate drops on the racing action with plenty of time for walking the track, catching one of the live podcast shows, bagging yourself some merch, and the incredible Show’N’Shine bike show sponsored by The Range.

Get ready for an unforgettable weekend of high-octane two-stroke racing and MX camaraderie at VMXdN Foxhill! This event is the highlight of the British Motocross calendar and one not to be missed.
