Team K-Tech Aristocars KTM back hot British teenage talent for 2024!

The brand new K-Tech Aristocars KTM team announced themselves to the British Motocross world this week with a hot new yellow-and-black liverie and an equally-hot teenage line-up of Ollie Colmer and Reece Jones ready to take on the MX2 and 250cc Youth classes in 2024!

Ollie has had an injury-hit first year in the Pro MX2 ranks but was on top-ten pace before he got hurt, and acquitted himself well on his return to action at the Coupe de l’Avenir last weekend.

Ollie Colmer will be able to put a full winter programme in after recovering from early-season injury in 2023.

Reece has won multiple Youth British titles in recent years and took the 125cc British Championship this season, as well as dipping his toes into the hot waters of EMX125 competition. He turns 15 over the winter and moves to the 250 four-stroke machine to take on that class in 2024.

Both riders will compete in the EMX250 Championships that support several rounds of the MXGP World Championship campaign.

Team Owner Jake Taylor told us more:

“I’ve been around motocross bikes & suspension my whole life, I’ve been very fortunate to look up to a role model like my father and try to follow the same foot steps he has gone through within the industry.  K-Tech suspension has been a massive part of my life growing up, I have seen everything my family have put into K-Tech to make it what it is today. I work there now as a full-time suspension technician and now I will manage this new team part-time.  It’s great to have such high end brands onboard and supporting the team in so many different ways.

Last year I was Ollie’s full time race mechanic, and it’s great to start something fresh and new plus continue our relationship. I will still be Ollie’s race mechanic, as well as helping Reece and his mechanic along the way throughout the season. None of this would be possible without each individual and company involved in making this project happen. Especially Paul Baldwin from Aristocars, our other title sponsor. We hope to grow and continue into the future!”

Reece Jones makes the move to a 250F after a successful final year on the 125.

Paul Baldwin (Aristocars Ltd):

“I feel very excited to be helping Ollie and Reece out this year, it is so great to give these lads the opportunity to prove their skills against the UK and Europe’s best riders. Jake has managed to put together some great support packages for the team in these difficult times. We are all 100% committed to nurturing our riders and help produce their best performances to achieve their goals. I look forward to a successful 2024!”
