The third annual VMXdN at Foxhill is getting better and better. Foxhill is like hallow ground to anybody who is into the 90’s and 2000’s MX scene. Word is spreading and international recognition growing for the overall 90’s vibe of the four-day motocross festival weekend, held at the iconic Wiltshire Grand Prix circuit near Swindon over the August Bank holiday weekend.

However, it was home team honours in 2023 with Team GB taking the overall win in the VMXdN International Team Race. Defending champs Tommy Searle, Mel Pocock and Brad Anderson are back for more. All three riders are super keen and signed up to defend their title for this year’s event.
Searle rode like a man possessed in 2023 on his DocWob built Pro Circuit KX 250 and will be back on the same machine in August with a few more motor mods to make the bike more suitable for the top end power required to keep with the 500’s also in the class. Proudly running the big number 1 plate the bike will be run and supported with the full backing of Jon Giffard and his Dirt Store Kawasaki squad who will be bringing their full British championship pit set up. Searle is backed by O’Neal clothing who are working on some new colours just for the event as well as personal sponsor Kecks who will have some VMXdN TS100 “two stroke Tommy” merch made just for the weekend. Look out for some vlogs on his popular YouTube channel on his preparation and testing prior to the race.
Next up is 2023 hero, Mel Pocock, who will be back and fighting fit ready for August after his nasty crash earlier in the year. Mel loves the vibe of the event and looks forward to it all year, after last year’s heroics where he rode with a broken leg to help Team GB take the overall, he coined the phrase “MX on Sunday, X-Ray on Monday” much to the delight of the partisan crowd. Pocock will be racing his 2002 CR 250 with the number 2 plate – Mel is backed by MGP Steel, Airport autos, GTCI, DEP and Apico and is there with the full support and backing of the Dirt Store team.
Last but most certainly not least is British bulldog Brad Anderson who will be on a Steve Clitheroe tuned CR 500 with the number 3 emblazoned on. He is a never-give-up rider and is like a dog with a bone in pursuit of the race win and a firm fan favourite wherever he races. Anderson is backed by Rochords Recovery and event sponsor The Range; he will be most certainly one to beat!
