Team Canada reveal Motocross of Nations team

Team Canada has confirmed the three riders that will be riding at the 2024 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations in Matterley Basin, United Kingdom on the 4th, 5th and 6th of October.

Kourtney Lloyd, Team Manager

“I am happy to be able to present the 2024 Team Canada Motocross of Nations Team. With a crazy season behind us and a lot of discussions behind the scenes the picks have been made and we are ready to tackle Matterley Basin in October. We will be heading over this year with the thoughts of redemption in our minds. We have an extremely talented group of riders in Canada and we are ready to showcase that. The Team selection process is not an easy one and I want to thank everyone for their input and their patience. I have had the honour of leading all three of these riders at this race at different times and they all bring a different skill set to the table. I am very excited to see them all work together toward the same goal. The sheer grit they all have shown this season and overseas in the past is unmatched and I am confident that we will make our Nation proud”

Jess Pettis MX1 #70

“I am super grateful to be picked to represent Canada as the Team Captain, alongside some experienced and great teammates. I have had the honour of representing Canada two times previously and to be able to go for a third as Team Captain after winning the 2024 MX1 Title this season makes me really proud. I have worked so hard to get here. I am more than ready to get overseas and get after it.”

Kaven Benoit MX2 #71

“Representing Canada this year means so much. I collected awesome memories racing this event and looking forward to creating more. It’s always a privilege to be part of team Canada. We have an experienced line up this year and feel we can accomplish big things. Also having fun along the way and appreciating every minute of it is part of the plan!”

Dylan Wright Open #72

“I am very honoured to once again represent Canada at this year’s MXON race in Matterley Basin. I will do everything in my power to get the results I know I can on the world stage and make Canadians proud!!”
