Team Apico to defend VMXDN Foxhill Wright Engineering National Team Race title in 2025

Team Apico to defend VMXDN Foxhill Wright Engineering National Team Race title in 2025

With the most anticipated race on the UK motocross calendar – and some would argue the world MX schedule.

The VMXdN Foxhill held over the August Bank holiday is only 26 weeks away!

The upper echelons of British talent are all signing on to do battle in the natural amphitheatre of the Wiltshire valleys which have staged some of the highest profile events in motocross history, Foxhill Moto Parc will again sound to the beat of forty two-strokes ridden in anger by the countries, and the world’s finest racers. It’s enough to have the hairs on the back of the neck of any MX fan stand on end, and is certainly not an event to be missed.

Team Apico Honda is the first team to be announced to contest the highly competitive Wright Engineering National Team Race and is bang up for defending the win they clinched at the 2024 event.

Dylan Brown, director of Apico Racing, team manager for the squad, and VMXdN Foxhill sponsor, is excited about VMXdN, as it is one of his favourite events. Riders Martin Barr, Tom Grimshaw, and Jamie Law will line up on the mint Honda CR 250s to do battle and strive to regain the podium’s top step.

Martin Barr will run the illustrious number 1 plate. The veteran Northern Irish warrior will be pushing for race wins come August 23rd and 24th, that’s for sure. He cites Foxhill as one of his favourite circuits. The hilly, flowing track suits his aggressive style, and he has no problem making up time and places.

Rocking the number 2 plate is Tom Grimshaw, who has made a dent in the British MX scene after a stellar youth career. He is a hard charger, and Grimshaw is a tall lad who makes the 250 2-stroke look like a toy; again, one to watch.

Jamie Law completes the squad and will carry the number 3 plate. Law has had a long and illustrious MX career. The journeyman racer is smooth yet aggressive, and his style suits the power delivery of the 23-year-old CR 250 to a tee.

Online tickets for the four-day festival celebrating all things 90s and 00s motocross are available at 2024 prices; purchase tickets online to save money. Furthermore, camping has sold out for the past two years, so pre-booking is advisable to avoid disappointment.

In these modern times where everything is getting more expensive, VMXdN Foxhill offers excellent value for money – for what many consider to be the best race of the year, even Racer X magazine dubbed it “the Woodstock of two strokes”

If you only make one MX event in 2025, don’t miss this one!
