Heading into the 2023 International Six Days of Enduro as reigning champions in both the Men’s and Women’s Trophies, there’s a lot to live up to for Team GB. Last year’s edition of the ISDE in France was a dream come true, with the Men’s team winning for the first time in 69 years and the Women’s team bringing home the gold for the first time ever.
With three incredibly strong teams, Team GB is feeling positive and ready to defend our titles. This year’s EnduroGP season has prepared the riders well, with Jed Etchells being crowned World Champion in the Junior Class and Jamie McCanney finishing third overall in E1.
Libby Tett and Max Ingham are new to the ISDE but have been training hard all year, with Libby competing in her first EnduroGP at the final round in Portugal earlier this month. The Portuguese weather and terrain provided great practice for the conditions in Argentina and will have been hugely beneficial to all riders.
We’re looking forward to getting to Argentina and walking all the tests to see what we are going to be up against! Team Manager Jamie Lewis and his management team have been working extremely hard behind the scenes to make sure everything is ready to go and runs smoothly- arguably the easiest part is when we’re out there!
We would like to say a huge thank you to all of our sponsors for 2023, without your support none of this would be possible and it has been a huge feat to even get us to this point. We will be working hard to make sure it all pays off! We would like to especially thank our title sponsor, GTCI, and our main sponsor, ACU, for their incredible support this year.
Here’s a reminder of our team lineup this year. Make sure to check out the rider profiles we shared on Instagram and Facebook.
