Probably the biggest entry at a Formula Grasstrack association event heads to Shropshire this Saturday as Round 2 of the H and N Supplies Ltd FGA Championship takes place at Shawbury.

An entry of 23 youth and 35 adults will compete for Championship points and to win the Tom Thomas memorial finals at the popular venue near Shrewsbury.
Lilly Bence and Dalton Wright make up a smaller than usual E-Bike class. In the auto cadets, Alfie Shipp returns to try and keep up his maximum form from round one, but has his work cut out against hard chargers Charlie Dowd and Dakota Wright. Kaylem Bourne and Lucas Astley will both be looking to keep up with their good form from Malpas and Alfie Salisbury travels from North Wales in knly his 2nd meeting on the 50cc KTM. Chloe Davis and AJ Bence make up the cadet entry.
Cub maximum man Finley Theobald heads the 9-12 class, whilst Logan Price will be aiming to improve on his 2nd place last time out. Jessica Cox makes the trip down from Runcorn and Archie Whitelam will make his return to FGA racing after missing Round 1 two weeks ago.
An entry of 9 Juniors will, no doubt put on some fantastic racing with Round 1 winner Ollie Binns looking to continue his winning form. Champion Joe Crewe had a poor meeting by his own high standards at Round 1 so will be keen to turn it around on Saturday. Jack Baker and Jack Crewe both rode consistently last time out and will be battling for the top three. Bristol’s Max Derrick looks to get his season up and running after only 1 ride last time out. Liam Cox, Chrly Arthur and Isaac Collins-Bullock are also joined by newcomer Maz Alexander.
A 35 strong Senior entry is headed by double champion Wayne Broadhurst who was in superb form last time out. Woodbridge’s Mark Scopes makes the long trip up to try and improve on his 2nd place two weeks ago. Graham Thomas returns to FGA action after missing round 1 due to illness. 250 front runners Adam Hawker and Colin How also make their return to the 125cc category. Youngsters Sam Hall, Max Broadhurst and Jake Breeze will be pushing for top 6 spots whilst Chris Timms, Nick Bull and Andrew Rowson will be there or there abouts.
Marcus Crutchington, David Binns and Kevin Gwillam look to kick their formula grasstrack seasons off after missing round 1.
Practice starts at 12pm with 1st race due to commence at 1pm.
