Steve made the announcement on social media which is below:

“All good things come to an end! Beta and I will part ways at the end of 2023. I would like to thank Beta for giving me my first opportunity at becoming a professional and the ability to prove myself at the highest level. I have grown a huge amount as a person and racer since my first official day as a Factory Beta rider in 2016.

We’ve had an incredible amount of success over the last 8 seasons; 4 EGP overall World titles, 3 in the E3 class aboard the 300RR and 2 E2 titles aboard the 350RR bringing my personal total to 9. As well as 3 Italian overall championships and an overall British title.

I’ve made some unforgettable memories with the people there, those that will stay with me forever. Thank you all at Beta that have made my last 8 years so successful!

A big thank you to also the die hard Beta fans for you amazing support on this journey! Grazie Mille Tutti!”
