The action-packed Arenacross World Tour has been enthralling fans across the country over the last few years, and with the Manchester round marking the 100th night of Arenacross, the organisers put on a special show for attendees. Alongside the usual racing, the evening saw a host of celebs try their hand at riding, with the likes of Kelvin Fletcher, Dan Bewley, OJ Borg, Mark McCann, Brady Kurtz and Rick Parfitt Jnr taking part.
To support the series, Kawasaki UK loaned a fleet of its KLX140 bikes to be used in the race. This easy-to-ride machine offers confidence-inspiring handling and usable power, making it ideal for those riders who might not have had any off-road experience – such as OJ Borg who had never ridden on two wheels before!

YouTube star Mark McCann came out on top at the end of the race, ahead of actor Kelvin Fletcher and Speedway star Dan Bewley.
Ross Burridge, Head of Marketing & Racing Department at Kawasaki Motors UK
“We have always been big fans of the Arenacross series, with the non-stop action making it the ideal racing event for the whole family. We were pleased we could provide the fantastic KLX140 for use in the celebrity race and it was great to see these stars enjoying their time on a Kawasaki.”

Matt Bates, Managing Director at ASL Active
“The celeb race couldn’t have gone down better! It was a brilliant evening and an amazing chance for these stars to see the fun and enjoyment that comes from two wheels. The crowds trackside loved it too so it’s definitely something we will look to replicate again in the future. We want to say a massive thank you to Kawasaki for loaning us the bikes, they were the perfect machines for the race!”
