Paul is no stranger to both the national and international paddocks, being heavily involved owning his own team for many years, we also welcome Paul and Geartec as sponsor of VMXdN Foxhill for 2023.

Team Mercia consists of Elliot Banks-Browne, Luke Burton and Josh Spinks and its plain to see from these guys they’re not messing about.

Elliot Banks-Browne is a two time MX2 British champion, a RedBull pro national champion and a schoolboy 250 national champion, he’s also a former Grand Prix rider and will be racing a Honda CR 250 at Foxhill in August, which he rides really, really well (I would say he was born 20 years too late as he rides the open class Honda really smoothly with no effort, unlike his uncle Mark, who was a bit more aggressive lol). His pedigree cannot be questioned as he is from the Banks Racing dynasty, his Mum, Melanie Banks is sister to Mark and Justin, and his grandfather is Grand Prix legend John Banks. The Banks family are also title sponsor of VMXdN Foxhill. EBB is a serious racer and is more than up for getting it in the mix.

Luke Burton’s stats speak for themselves, he is a seven time AMCA champion in both Mx2 and MX1 classes as well as a couple of IMBA championships thrown in for good measure. He will be racing a CR 500 at Foxhill and has shown his ability to drop onto the open class Honda with ease, he has an aggressive riding style and really doesn’t take any prisoners. Luke is already riding the big CR in preparation and is not to be under-estimated.

Josh Spinks is the third team member of Team Mercia, and will be riding a Suzuki RM 250. Josh is a mutiple schoolboy national champion and has been on the podium at the British MX2 championship, as well as race wins at the MX nationals, British masters and he was British 2 stroke champion in 2022. His career highlight is surely his second place finish at the FIM EMX250 at Matterley in 2018. Add to that his win overall in the Evo+ class at the 2022 VMXdN Foxhill event. Josh has ridden for heavyweight teams such as REVO Kawasaki, Hitachi KTM, Verde KTM and Heads & Threads Suzuki among others, he is riding regularly in his “day job” as a rider trainer and is already riding the RM in preparation… He is bang up for the event!
