SMX World ChampionshipTM International Video Pass to Feature Three Language Offerings in 2025

The SMX League is excited to continue offering world-class racing live and on-demand around the globe from January – September. Following the successful launch of the SuperMotocross Video Pass in 2023, 2024 saw a new and exciting addition of the Spanish language broadcast driven by broadcast industry veteran Edgar Lopez and former racer Tommy “TJ” Rios. 2025 will now feature three different languages for global viewers with the addition of a French-language broadcast. SuperMotocross Video Pass (www.supermotocross.tv), available in every country outside the United States, live and on-demand, in English and Spanish, is now also available in French giving viewers a variety of options to follow all the racing action. The continued innovation in international programming makes the SMX World ChampionshipTM series one of the most accessible live-viewing motorsports across the globe.

The French language broadcast team will feature industry broadcast veteran, Maxime Martin as the play-by-play and a rotating group of Analysts highlighted by former French racers, Sébastien Tortelli, Marvin Musquin, and David Vuillemin with plans to deliver the same authentic and expert commentary that our international audience has come to expect from the SuperMotocross Video Pass. Maxime Martin has been a longtime contributor to the sport’s media, taking on play-by-play and hosting duties for events like the Paris Supercross, Nitro Circus, and Freestyle Motocross. Sébastien Tortelli, known for his impressive 2000 Pro Motocross season where he finished second in the premier class to Ricky Carmichael, will serve as an Analyst on the program. Marvin Musquin, renowned for his multiple Regional 250 Class Supercross Championships and premier class runner-up finishes, and David Vuillemin, noted for his 2002 Supercross runner-up finish to Ricky Carmichael, will also rotate as Analysts.

The GOAT, Ricky Carmichael remains in the booth as Analyst joining Leigh Diffey and Jason Weigandt who share the play-by-play role. Four-time AMA champion, James Stewart will also enter the booth as Analyst for select races. Long-time trackside reporters Will Christien and Jason Thomas return to bring the action from the ground at all SMX races.

The popular Race Day Live pre-race show will continue to cover all 28 races of the SMX World Championship series and post-season in 2025. Supercross legend Justin Brayton will return to the booth as host for all 17 rounds of Supercross alongside Adam Cianciarulo who will join the team full-time after taking part in select rounds in 2024 following his retirement from racing. The pre-race program will feature 2.5 hours of coverage for each Supercross event, one hour for each Pro Motocross event, and 2.5 hours for both SMX Playoff events and the SMX World Championship Final.

Reporting on the ground for Race Day Live will see the return of an all-star cast of broadcast and racing professionals with Steven Scott (Lurch), Haley Shanley, and Katie Osborne giving viewers the inside scoop as race day develops.
