We’ve experienced an extraordinary season full of thrilling highs and a few bumps along the way, but through it all, we’ve grown stronger and more determined. We’re incredibly grateful for the unwavering support from our fans, sponsors, and crew, without whom this journey wouldn’t be possible. As we look back on the year, we want to take a moment to celebrate some of our key achievements, reflect on the challenges we’ve overcome, and share the milestones that made this season unforgettable.

Charlie Heyman, an impressive season, despite facing a major setback halfway through the year.

He fractured his wrist in the middle of the season, which could have easily ended his championship hopes. After weeks of recovery, he came back stronger and fought his way back into contention, and against all odds, he managed to secure the Scottish Championship title in the MX2 class, showing just how much heart and hard work went into his season.

Tristan Purdon, our South African import, joined the team fresh off a shoulder reconstruction and wasted no time making his mark. He stunned some with a few impressive performances, quickly establishing himself as a regular podium contender in both the British and Scottish Championships. Though he narrowly missed out on the Scottish MX1 title, his progression throughout the season has been nothing short of impressive. We’re excited to see how his journey unfolds, as he continues to push himself to new heights.

Syd Putnam – An impressive leap from the youth class to the MX2 Pro class this season, taking on a new challenges Early on, he secured a P2 overall at the Bridgestone Masters at Schoolhouse and was sitting third in the championship until a busted finger slowed his progress. Despite this injury,
Syd fought through, earning his first professional points in the competitive MX2 class. It’s been a season of growth and for Syd, and we’re excited to see what the future holds for him!

Charlie Putnam – It was a busy year for Charlie Putnam, who took on 4 rounds of Arenacross, winning head-to-heads and qualifying for 2 mains despite battling through a thigh muscle injury. His season highlights included holeshots and leading laps in the British Masters Championship, a P9 finish at the British Championship, and multiple club wins. Charlie also secured a P6 finish at the MX Nationals and capped off the season with an unforgettable experience at Zwartecross, calling it the best weekend of his life!

Elliott Banks-Browne hoped to end the year on a high, but a lingering injury kept him from reaching his full potential. Still, a holeshot at Blaxhall, where he led a few laps, was a standout moment in a season filled with challenges from injuries and mechanical issues.

American Dream

The AMA USA tour was a significant learning curve for the team this year, as the classes were stacked and times were incredibly close in all the qualifications, with extreme heat conditions and challenging tracks adding to the difficulty. Charlie Putnam and Tristan Purdon made the most of their first leg there, skillfully adapting to the conditions and bike changes. Charlie narrowly missed out on making it into the main races, while Tristan successfully advanced and scored some valuable points. The second leg of the trip saw Charlie Heyman join the team, but his dreams were cut short when a first turn crash left him with a concussion, preventing him from competing. Despite the setbacks, the experiences gained will surely contribute to their growth as riders.

Motocross of Nations

Tristan Purdon also had the honour of representing South Africa at the MXON event at Matterley Basin, racing on his new home soil in the UK. He got off to a great start, showcasing his skills and determination as he proudly waved the South African flag high. Some great results in the Open Class, contributed to South Africa’s overall placement of 18th in the nations standings.
