SC Sporthomes Husqvarna back in the UK after 3 week American excursion
After a three-week excursion to the USA, the SC Sporthomes Husqvarna team is back in the UK and gearing up for the third round of the ACU British Championship at Blaxhall, Suffolk. With three rounds of the AMA Pro Motocross completed for Charlie Putnam and Tristan Purdon and Loretta Lynn’s regional qualifier under Syd Putnam’s belt, the team had a valuable learning experience. They’re eager to return stateside and build on what they’ve estab- lished there.
Pro AMA Motocross
Tristan Purdon is looking forward to applying what he learned from the tough competition in the AMA Pro Motocross. Despite some challenging races and a few crashes, Tristan stayed positive and is ready for Blaxhall. Reflecting on his experience, Tristan said, “We’re learning and enjoying every minute out here. Learnt a lot, will move forward and come back and try again.”

Charlie Putnam is back with renewed energy after competing against top riders in the AMA series. He’s excited to race on the British tracks again and show off his improved skills.
“Always a good time flying across the pond and racing the baddest dudes on the planet in our sport! We are Livin!!” he said about his American adventure. Even though Charlie showed incredible speed, some bad luck had him shy of qualifying. Now, he’s ready to bring that same enthusiasm to Blaxhall.
Loretta’ s Qualifier
Syd Putnam had been forced to move up to the B class earlier in the year by the AMA, and made it to the regional qualifier in Georgia for Loretta’s. Having a tough time battling with a deeper field of competition and in scorching heat, he gave it his all with a 15th and 13th place finish in his races, just missing out on direct qualification. Reflecting on the experience, Syd remarked, “These are some seriously fast boys but I’m here to learn and we’re doing just that – even to get to regionals is a massive achievement for me.”
