After an injury- troubled 2022, Sam had a career-best 5th overall at Monster Mountain to end the Revo ACU British Motocross Championship in 8th for the year in the MX2 division. That included a stirring ride forward in the first moto in atrocious conditions. He has also taken overall wins at the VMXdN Foxhill event for the last two years, in the Evo Ultra class for 2003-2007 model bikes last year and the Wright Engineering National Team Race this year.
The team has made this statement over their social media channels:
“Now that the UK domestic season has ended, we want to announce that Sam Nunn will no longer be riding for the team. Sam has been a huge asset in the last two years we have supported him, and we have seen him grow into an MX2 front runner in the UK.
Sam has had some great results and some challenges but we believe he is set up for great things in 2024 and beyond. It has been a pleasure having him and his family on the team and we wish him the very best of luck.”
Dirt Hub wishes Sam all the best in sorting out a good ride for 2024, and awaits news of the team’s plans for next season.
