RIDER NEWS: Isak Gifting joins JK Racing Yamaha for MXGP 2024!

So the news has come through that reigning British MX2 Champion Isak Gifting has found a ride for 2023.  Unfortunately for British fans it seems unlikely that Isak will continue to race in the UK as a result of racing for the Italian based JK Racing Yamaha team, but we wish Isak all the success he can achieve in the big class!  Here is the statement:

JK Racing Yamaha is excited to announce the team line-up for the upcoming season thanks to the support of Yamaha Motor Italia.

JK Racing Yamaha will head into the 2024 season with a full line up to compete in the MXGP World Championship as well as the EMX125 class with a combination of experienced riders and promising newcomers.

Isak Gifting will lead the way as he’ll compete in the whole FIM Motocross World Championship, making his debut in the MXGP class on March the 10th in Patagonia-Argentina, and alongside Gifting a second Swedish rider is proudly announced as Anton Nagy will make appearances at all European rounds of the MXGP class.

With two riders joining the team in the premier class, JK Racing Yamaha will attack the 2024 series to make their mark in the challenging MXGP class.

Additionally Giorgio Orlando, the winner of the 2023 YZ125 bLU cRU Masterclass will take the challenge to compete in the EMX125 category, while Manuel Iacopi continues his journey with JK Racing Yamaha for the tenth consecutive season. Iacopi is now a test development rider, significantly contributing to the success of the team and will also line up as a wild card at selected rounds of MXGP.

JK Racing Yamaha, managed by Riccardo and Giuliano Boschi, is committed to success for the 2024 season.
