RFN & EXGB join forces to grow Grassroots Dirt Bike Racing in the UK

RFN & EXGB join forces to grow Grassroots Dirt Bike Racing in the UK

The UK’s fastest-selling MX-style electric bike brand, RFN, is backing grassroots electric dirt bike racing in Britain by partnering with EXGB and its Electric X Race events.

EXGB has been running accessible kids’ electric race events for three years, attracting big entries from riders from the ages of 4 to 8 to their race meetings, which also include the Electric Dirt Bike Festival at Greenfield Dirt Track.

As the EXGB look to grow the sport of offroad to a new audience together with RFN, they have introduced the new affordable, grassroots E1 class, which caters for low-powered and low-cost machines, which is a perfect match for the RFN Warrior range of bikes.

RFN, as well as being a partner of EXGB as a whole, will also be the title sponsor of the E1 class, with lots of other exciting collaborations planned for the future.

EXGB’s Julie Coyne said of the announcement, “At EXGB, we have a passion for introducing new riders and their families to Dirt Bike racing.  RFN share this passion, and their Warrior range of bikes and the E1 class give little riders and their families the chance to go racing both on a budget and in a controlled way so that riders can grow and learn at a gradual and confidence-building pace. We are really looking forward to working with RFN this year,”

RFN’s Jamie Masterman commented on the partnership, “With their low noise and low maintenance, Electric bikes and racing are on the up. We are really looking forward to supporting EXGB in the E1 class this season. This year will see four new RFN warrior race models in all key youth race classes plus an all-new Adult MX and enduro machine.”

The RFN range is growing, too, so expect to see more new bikes being released that will allow you to race in the other EXGB classes. To see the complete list of classes, go to >> https://www.exgb.co.uk/2025-exgb-classes-revealed-new-e1-e2-classes-added-grassroots-dirtbike-racing-for-4-8-year-olds/
