Raw Enduro ready for the Summit Extreme Enduro – Entries Open!

RAW Enduro’s Latest Extreme Enduro will run on Sunday June 25th. ACU British Extreme Championship Round 3. Aimed at all rider abilities by way of TWO SEPARATE EVENTS in ONE DAY.

Race director Wayne Braybrook, as he plans to find out just how many riders have the Metal to reach the Summit…

A privately owned 1500 Acre Farm Complex has quite simply the toughest virgin terrain North Yorkshire has to offer. After an open flowing first mile or so, the course Features a 20 metre wide Dry Limestone riverbed section of track which runs for over half a mile, riders will have to battle to the top via boulders and waterfalls, then with no time to rest, they begin the climb to the Summit via a killer steep ravine, this is the only way out of the deep valley, it will require some serious line choice and skills. For those who crest the summit high above the valley below, they will then plunge back down the via a very steep hillside before tackling a horrendous rock garden close to the paddock which will be a key spectator area. Course length is around 4 Miles per lap.

Added to the event by clerk of the course Wayne Braybrook, as a true Hard Enduro feature, Pro and Expert and clubman riders only will have an extra section of course to get through called the “Twister”, this is an insanely steep climb out of the main dry riverbed, impossible to ride straight up, riders line choice across the steep valley side will be critical. Such is the severity of this section, the twister won’t be opened by track marshals until the 2 hour mark, Pro and Experts have to complete 1 passage of this section to be qualified as an official finisher, by then riders will be showing signs of fatigue, Mr Braybrook said it was going to be tough…. Get ready folks.

Camping is available for Riders from Saturday.

Spectators are welcome Sunday Morning, and there will be a £10 PP charge on the gate which includes free parking.
