Purbeck MXC present charity cheques at their Presentation evening

Following the 2024 Weymouth Beach Motocross event, organisers the Purbeck MXC held a presentation evening on Saturday, 25th January at the Town’s golf club.

With monies raised from that 2024 event, Purbeck were to hand over a cheque to the value of £1,000 to the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and £1,800 to the Weymouth and Portland Lions Club. Picking up the cheque on behalf of the Air Ambulance was Harry Hendry whilst the Lions Club were represented by Chairman Ryan Hope.

On Saturday night, recently retired and long standing Purbeck MXC Chairman Alf Stearn also received a special recognition award whilst all of the Club members were very warmly thanked for all of their hardwork in ensuring the continued success of the Weymouth Beach Motocross event.

The date for 2025 as been already announced as Sunday, October 12th.
