Planet Moto bumps up MXGB Prize purse to support privateers

In an exciting development for riders of the Motul ACU British Motocross Championship, Planet Moto is stepping up to support round 1 at Hawkstone Park.

In addition to the waived registration fees, riders will benefit from additional prize money, with a remarkable structure aimed at rewarding all riders who finish a main event. For every participant who finishes at Hawkstone Park, £10 per race will be allocated from the prize pool, ensuring that even those who finish 11th to 40th in the 125cc class and 16th to 40th in both the MX1 and MX2 classes will receive a share of the rewards and go home with money in their pocket come Sunday evening. This inclusive approach ensures everyone has a stake in the action at round 1.

Series Director Paul Irwin said, “Whilst this is only for round 1 at the moment I am working hard to role this out at other rounds. I really want to show the entire field that it means something to make the main races and even if they finish out of the points their efforts are not unrewarded. Big thanks to Max at Planet Moto for helping make this happen.”
