Philippaerts, Cervellin & Monticelli to lead the Mamprin squad at 2025 VMXDN Foxhill

Philippaerts, Cervellin & Monticelli to lead the Mamprin squad at 2025 VMXDN Foxhill

The big names are lining up thick and fast for the most anticipated event on the UK motocross calendar: the fourth annual VMXdN Foxhill, which will be held at the iconic Wiltshire Grand Prix circuit on its traditional date—the August bank holiday weekend.

Having raced the 2024 event, 2008 World Champion Davide Philippaerts is back for more. Philippaerts is a super smooth, yet aggressive racer who spent fifteen years racing at world championship level, culminating in a championship on the Rinaldi factory Yamaha squad in 2008. Philippaerts will spearhead the DP19 by Mamprin squad. He will be running his lucky race number – 19.

Andrea Cervellin is keen to have another go at Foxhill after the 2024 event left him wanting for more. Cervellin is a former professional GP racer who runs a successful rider training camp, he raced 125’s and 250’s for some major teams, with Factory Husqvarna being the highlight when he won the Italian MX championship. He will be running the number 20 plate.

Third and by no means last is Italian Ivo Monticelli, a long-time GP racer, having competed in 90 MX2 Grand Prix races between 2011 and 2017. He went on to become an MX1 rider, adding another 93 GPs to that tally, having raced up until 2024, his best result was a 5th place, so he is no slouch and will be sure to be at the sharp end of the racing.

The VMXdN Foxhill has become a fan favourite and has been dubbed the MX event of the year. It’s a “must-see” race and a four-day festival celebrating all that is good and great about the 90s and 00s motocross scene. Nothing beats the sound of forty finely tuned 2-strokes racing against the backdrop of the crowd going crazy with air horns in the natural amphitheatre valley.

The event has consistently delivered exceptional value for money, and 2025 is shaping up to be no exception. Online ticket prices will remain at 2024 prices. Securing your tickets early online is undoubtedly the most economical choice, ensuring you avoid the higher prices that will be in effect at the gate. Pre-booking camping passes is recommended, as camping has sold out in previous years.
