Team Revo Seven Kawasaki rider Dylan Walsh showed incredible pace from the start of the day to the finish in a stunning final round of the Revo British Motocross Championship at Landrake.

Nearly two seconds faster than the next rider in morning qualifying for MX2, even quicker than the pole time in MX1, Dylan went to the line first in each race, and despite an “awful” start in race one he made his way to the lead at the beginning of the first full lap. “I had a couple of turns with bad lines so I got passed, but then I passed back and those behind me came together, so I had a big gap after that and just managed the race.”

In race two Dylan was only beaten into the first turn by the 250 two-stroke of Charlie Heyman. In an effort to instantly take the lead, Walsh over-balanced and fell into a trackside advert board! As crew chief Sam Yates said: “Dylan got the red mist down and fell twice more early on, but then he got the hammer down and made it one of the most exciting races of the whole season!”

The KX250 Kawasaki was being wound on by Walsh, who moved up 9 places in the first two laps, then passed a rider in each of the next 5 laps to reach third. He moved into 2nd with a 12 second gap to the leader and caught up inside 4 laps with blazing speed! Just a little too much throttle in the final corner meant he had to settle for 2nd, but it was an incredible charge. “I was upset not to take the win but happy with my riding.”

The team has big news coming for 2023, soon to be announced!
