One week to go to Arenacross Belfast 2024!

Following an amazing weekend in Manchester we’re already excitedly counting down to our return to the SSE Arena Belfast next weekend for rounds 3 and 4 of the 2024 British Arenacross Championship presented by Fix Auto UK.

After his emotional breakthrough victory last time around, Jack Brunell will be looking to carry his form across the Irish Sea and continue to stake his claim as a title contender on the rapid Stark Varg, whilst reigning champion Tommy Searle and rival Conrad Mewse will be looking to get their campaigns back on track after frustrating starts in Manchester.

Jack Brunell leads the series after his Manchester win.

Competing against them will be Dundonald’s own James Mackrel, who’ll be hoping ‘home’ advantage will help him secure a big result in the Traxxas Pro Class in front his local crowd.

If you’re still getting your plans for next weekend sorted, don’t delay, we’re selling fast for both nights (especially Saturday the 20th… there’s less than 150 tickets left)! Don’t miss your chance to be part of the high-octane entertainment.

The British Arenacross Championship is a high-octane show without equal, featuring an electrifying mix of unparalleled indoor motocross racing and fearless freestyle motocross (FMX) action, whilst being simultaneously packed with all-round family fun and edge-of-your-seat entertainment, pyro, lasers and much more.

What to Expect in Belfast

The SSE Arena is looking great ahead of our return next week!

It won’t be long until the pristine arena is transformed into an amazing theatre of speed, check out some of the facts below to find out what goes into the build process!

  • The types of dirt we use varies from a recycled crushed aggregate to a sandy clay mix, meaning that each round will be slightly different to the next.
  • The amount of dirt used for each track varies between 2,250 and 3,100 tons.
  • Our earth moving machinery and plant supplier is Thomas Plant Hire.
  • It takes just 12 hours to deliver the dirt, and 12 more to build the track.
  • It then only takes 12 hours to remove the dirt on the Sunday after each event.
  • Underneath each track is 1,200 sheets of plywood.
  • There are only two track builders – Alfie Smith and Justin Barclay.
