Mitch Godden announced as Team GB Long Track of Nations Team Manager for 2025

The ACU Track Racing Commission has announced that following a selection process, Mitch Godden has been appointed as the ACU Long Track of Nations Team Manager for 2025, which can be extended for a further two years subject to an end-of-season review each year with the Track Racing Commission.

Team GB has finished third in the last two seasons, having last won the Long Track of Nations in 2015. This year’s event takes place in Vechta, Germany, on September 13th.

Posted on the ACU Track Racing Page they said of the appointment, “The Commission would like to thank all those applicants who submitted interest in the position, the candidates were all very strong and all brought different qualities to the role, but after careful consideration by the Commission – which was overseen by ACU Vice President and Board member, Dr Paul King – the decision was taken to appoint Mitch Godden as the preferred candidate.

“The Commission would like to wish Mitch all the very best in this role and thank outgoing Team Manager, Paul Hurry for all his hard work and commitment to the role during recent years.”

We wish Mitch and the team the best of luck
