The promoters for VMXdN Foxhill are proud to announce American superstar Mike Larocco as guest of honour at the 2023 event, to be held at the iconic Wiltshire Grand Prix Circuit over the August bank holiday (August 24-28th 2023)
Mike will be at the track all weekend to meet his fans, and will participate in the ‘Legends Parade Lap’ on Sunday lunchtime.
Not that he needs any introduction but Mike “The Rock” Larocco was a hard charging factory rider for Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki and the Factory Connection Honda squad in his long career which started when he went Pro in 1987, spanning a whopping 19 years until he retired in 2006. He was inducted into the AMA hall of fame in 2014
Mike was on the winning American MXDN team of 1992 in Australia, and was the last ever 500cc AMA National Champion as he won the AMA National 500 title on two occasions. The class ended after his 1994 championship.
REDBUD track built a huge step up jump in his name called “Larocco’s Leap”. Mike is an icon of the sport and it will be an honour to welcome and meet him at Foxhill’s in August I’m sure you’ll agree.
His long list of stats are impressive and he is a brilliant asset to the VMXdN Foxhill weekend.
