MCE Team Wales Classic MX, a team of 27 motocross riders preparing to compete at the ‘International Nations Classique race’ in Ahun, France on the 16-18th August where they will race against 13 other international teams, including the USA, Cuba, France and Switzerland to name a few.
The Meidrim track was expertly prepared by Stephen Holmes and Glen Mottram, and the team and the riders took to the track on their classic bikes, all built between 1956 and 1999. Everyone enjoyed a superb buffet lunch prepared and served by the wonderful Bar Hire Company, whilst the 15-piece band ‘Sound Authority ‘ provided some excellent musical entertainment. The team kit was presented by lead sponsor Mr Mark Davies, Mitsui Components Europe, whilst all 21 sponsors were acknowledged for their fantastic commitment to the team. It was a great day. Thanks to Peter Anderson, an honorary team member, for his generous donation to give all the riders a drink from the bar.
