Max as the Edge! 2023 Edge Offroad British XC Championship Round 5 – Results, Highlights and Pictures

Driffield was the destination for the fifth round of the Edge Offroad promoted British Cross Country Championship on Sunday.

The Sun was out and the action was hot with the Premier Class win going the way of Max Ditchfield who has had a tremendous season so far. Kurt Griffiths won out in the Expert class while Daniel Tunnicliff took the honours in the Clubman.

Richard Hallam came out on top in the Masters Category, as did Jase Wood in the Novice, Josh Lister in the Sportsman, Scott Flynn in the Sportsman Vets, Alan Vissian in the Vets Over 50, Sarah Thomas in the Ladies and Riley Boyd in the Youth AM class.

The Youth race itself had a great entry, and saw Anabell Bolt claim victory in the Junior class, while Connor Watson grabbed the top spot in Youth A, Jacob Bragg fire in the win in Youth B and Skye Simpson-Jones rode a stormer in the Youth Girls.
