The historic track of Loket is set to host an extraordinary event in the world of motocross as the MXGP of Czech Republic welcomes a staggering 264 riders. This impressive number of entries underscores the exceptional state of the World and European Championships.

Since its inception into the MXGP circuit in 1995, Loket has been a cornerstone venue, with only three absences in 1996, 2001, and 2020. This year, the event promises to be nothing short of spectacular, highlighting the popularity and significance of the European Championships.

The weekend will feature intense competition across multiple classes, including the premier MXGP and MX2 categories, alongside the thrilling support races of EMX2T, EMX65, EMX85, and MXe.

With many high-profile comebacks such as Kawasaki Racing Team’s Romain Febvre, Standing Construct Honda MXGP’s Alberto Forato and JM Honda’s Brent Von Doninck, the MXGP of Czech Republic will be an exciting one!

The large number of riders participating is also a testament to the growing appeal and competitive nature of the championships. This large turnout is set to deliver a memorable experience for all attendees, where fans can expect an action-packed Grand Prix at the historic old-school track.

From a British perspective Josh Gilbert and Bobby Bruce look to be back from injury and are down to take their place in the MXGP and MX2 classes respectively.

Dissapointaly after our glory years of ruling the 2 Stroke roost on the European stage we do not have any British representatives in the EMX2T class.

We do however have a good bunch of super talented youngsters fresh from the Junior Worlds racing in the EMX85 and EMX65 classes.

In the EMX85 we have Blake Ward Clarke, Robbie Daly and Hayden Statt in the line up while in the EMX65 it’s Jett Gardiner, Cohen Jagielski repping the red white and blue.

In the MXE Category EXGB Champion Kolbe Red Sole is joined by fellow Brits Lennox Turvey, Reggie Nelson and Leo Golding.
