Leyburn Landslide for the Brightmores! 2025 UK Hard Enduro Series Round 1 - Results and Pictures

Sunday saw the ushering in of a new era of Hard Enduro in the UK with the launch of the new Edge Offroad-promoted UK Hard Enduro Series. This attracted a good entry to Leyburn for the inaugural round, with the superstar duo of Mitch and Ashton Brightmore going 1-2, finishing in that order on 12 laps each but 3 minutes apart.

Dan Peace, who started as rider 99 due to not riding in Saturday qualifying race, made his debut on his Triple D Motorsport KTM after switching from Sherco, finished on the box in third.

Ashton Brightmore

Class wins went the way of Peter Collins in the Expert class, Jamie Fort in the Clubman, Gareth Denham in the Sportsman, Jordan Fox in the Novice, Brooke Mudie in the Ladies, Graham Dickinson in the Over 40’s and Chris Brightmore in the Over 50’s.

In the Youth classes, Connor Watson won the Under 19 category. Dexter Hind was the top dog in Youth A, Oliver Grocott won Youth B, and Anabelle Bolt won the Youth Girls category.
