Kullas and Nunn & the Cab Screens Crescent Yamaha team successfully represent their countries!

Cab Screens Crescent Yamaha’s Harri Kullas took on his 9th consecutive MX of Nations on the weekend of Sept 24/25, at the awesome Red Bud track in America. Harri was in the Open class, along with his two teammates.

Harri had an awesome qualifying race on Saturday finishing 6th, and then in the combined Open/MX2 race on Sunday, Harri was battling at the sharp end in the top ten all race, eventually finishing a fantastic 8th, in front of Marvin Musquin and Hunter Lawrence.

Race two and Harri was so keen to get the holeshot that he hit the gate, and was last off the line. He put a solid performance in on the technical track, to finish an eventual 17th in the combined MXGP/MX Open class, for 8th overall in Open.

Harri Kullas “Was an honour to represent team Estonia once again in MXON. P8-17 for me on race day. First race got a good start and managed to fight in top 10. Second race was to eager for a holeshot and hit the gate

It was far from perfect weekend for Team Estonia. Lost JMT to a massive crash on Saturday. We then knew that the only thing for us this weekend was just to qualify. On Sunday it was only Tanel Leok and me. Tanel had some technical issues and had to DNF both races. Overall we finished P19.

Big thanks to Team Estonia manager for making this all happen. To my team Cab Screens Crescent Yamaha”

Podium for Dan at final Masters

Dan Thornhill took to the line for the last round of the Bridgestone Master Championship at the Foxhill circuit, near Swindon, on the weekend of Sept 16/17.

Dan was third in race one before passing the stricken Bobryshev for a comfortable second behind Josh Gilbert.

In race two, Dan finished 3rd but only a second behind Russian, Bobryshev, with Gilbert clear at the front once again.

2-3 gave Dan 2nd overall on the day and 4th in standings, after missing round one of the series where he was champion in 2021.

Dan Thornhill – “Another great year of racing with the Bridgestone British Masters. Fair play to Colin and Julie for all their hard work

Ended with a bit of podium pie today for 2nd overall which was a nice end to the season.”

Sam Nunn WINS Coupe de L’Avenir

Sam Nunn was competing in the renowned Couple de L’Avenir in Belgium this weekend, in the Open class. The event is pretty much the MX of Nations for youth and under 21 riders.

Saturday qualifying was dry, but Sunday was a very different matter with heavy overnight rain. Sam had a steady race one, considering the challenging conditions, finishing 3rd.

In race two, conditions got worse, and Sam moved from 3rd to 9th and then eventually back to 2nd at the end, giving him the overall win. A fantastic achievement at an event where previous winners include Stefan Everts, Dave Thorpe and our very own Harri Kullas.

Sam Nunn – “Great weekend at the Coupe De L’ Avenir. Sunday was a complete mud fest and probably the muddiest track I’ve ever ridden.

First Moto had a solid 3rd, then the second moto decent start and was up the front until I had a crash in one of the valleys and was there for quite a while, but got going and put my head down and got to 2nd
For 1st overall.

A big shout out to Dave Garland for picking me and helping me out, wouldn’t have been possible without his support”
