Kris Keefer joins the list for VMXdN Foxhill 2023!

Another week and another legend is announced for VMXdN Foxhill 2023! After last week’s big announcement about Steve Matthes and the Pulp MX Show coming to VMXdN Foxhill, not only to race but to do his hugely popular podcast from the beer tent – where he will be having some of the big names as guests of honour, it appears the fans all wanted Kris Keefer to join him on stage.

The promoters at VMXdN Foxhill are delighted to announce that the American tester and journalist Kris Keefer from Keefer Testing INC will be racing at VMXdN Foxhill 2023, held at the legendary Grand Prix circuit over the August Bank holiday weekend, the 24th through the 28th.

Keefer is a successful former professional supercross racer born in California’s high desert. His career path took a turn when he had an opportunity to become the test rider for Dirt Bike magazine in 2002. Keefer’s skills didn’t go unnoticed, and within three years, he was offered to become the test rider for the Yamaha factory, both on production and pre-production bikes, between 2005 and 2010. It was 2010 when he decided to start his own company; at the same time, Dirt Rider Magazine promoted him to Associate Editor, which soon turned into the role of their Senior Test Editor. His ability to look good in photo shoots and give a highly detailed critical appraisal of bikes and products with sometimes brutal honesty soon put him in the limelight as the go-to guy for companies to test and improve both bikes and aftermarket industry products. It soon became a full-time job, and “Keefer Testing INC” was born.

Now Keefer runs his website “Keefer Testing INC”, testing bikes and products from companies across the MX industry. He is also the senior tester for Dirt Rider magazine and a contributor to the Pulp MX show. If you follow the MX scene in the US, keep an eye out for his son Aden, an up-and-coming amateur with Keefer as his mentor; he is one to watch!

As you can see, Keefer is a busy guy, and the promoters are delighted to secure him to take a trip across the pond for VMXdN Foxhill 2023!

Keefer will be racing a CR250 ’02 prepared by Phil Denton Engineering in the Evo Plus race and a CR125 ’89 built by Nick Pritchett in the Evo 125 race…no pressure guys!

With so many names now in attendance for VMXdN Foxhill 2023, it has to be the event of the year! To recap on everyone who has been announced, be sure to visit the news section of their website www.vmxdnfoxhill.com
