In the MX1, It was again Travis Reynolds who came out on top. He went 1,1,1 for a maximum score towards the championship. He did so in great style with his brand-new graphics on the iconic white Kawasaki. Jamie Tempest, Luke Kennett and Kurt Bond battled it out for the podium spots. Kennett stole second with 2,3,2. Bond bagged 3rd after going 6,4,4.
Kirby showed the Rookies who was boss. Another easy win for the number 65 and another 3 moto wins. Charlie Guttridge was next up behind Kirby. Not the perfect day for Guttridge but he still scored some crucial points needed for the series. Finley Yorke-Williams went 5,4,3 for the final place on the box!
In the Autos Austin Edwards was the kid to beat. However he was unbeatable and snatched up all 3 motos for a maximum score. Jenson King fought hard to come in as the runner up on the day. A great day of work for King and 3 great moto finishes of 2,2,2. Archie Cornwell showed fantastic will power and managed to go home with 3rd place.
Arthur King came out on top in the 65s class once again. Racing is in his blood and he is showing more skill each week. He swept up a 1,1,1 for maximum points. He’s on track to gain the 65cc championship title. Nixon Coppins showed fantastic determination and grabbed 2nd place with both hands. He went 2,2,2. Elliot Shawyer came 3rd overall.
Ryan Clift went uncontested in the Big Wheels class. Clift was in a league of his own and went 1,1,1 with ease! The other 2 spots in the top 3 were open to all the riders but each one had to fight hard and show character to get on the steps. Oakley Skinner was second after 2,4,2. Harvey McEvoy had a mixed bag of results but it was just enough to beat Bobby Farmer to the podium. McEvoy went 5,2,4.
Danny Jamal was set for the perfect day in the Small Wheels class. He was struck with some bike issues in moto 2 which set his aggregate score backwards. He did however still manage to get on the steps with his score of 1,18,1. Charlie Hobden went through in second after 6,1,3. Toby Bond showed that consistency is key to gain a win. He went 2,2,2 to be the Small Wheel winner on the day.
Mark Morris again came out on top in the Vets class. A perfect score for the current class champion. Paul Williams had a great ride in race 2, clawing his way back from outside the top 10 into 2nd. Consistent riding from Williams bagged him 2,2,2. Title contender Brad Humphrey suffered bike issues in race 1 which hindered his moto 1 result. Louis Reid capitalised on this and went 3,4,4 for 3rd place overall.
PW Racing’s Ricky Carter swept up in the MX2 class. Some great display of skills meant 1,1,1 for the overall. Tom Moore was on top form and had to dig deep to get his perfect score of 2,2,2 for second overall. Steve Turvey rode with great style and scored 3,3,5 to ensure he took the final step on the podium.
